The OnePlus Buds Pro earphones are expected to arrive alongside the OnePlus Nord 2 next week, but the American company does not want to wait and reveals some important details about the product.
OnePlus' head of research and development, Kinder Liu, told CNET that the new wireless earbuds offer “adaptive noise cancellation,” using three microphones to dynamically adjust the required level of cancellation. More specifically, the company says there will be cancellation levels between 15 and 40 decibels. The company also revealed that the earphones will have 38 hours of battery life thanks to the case only but with the noise cancellation disabled, activating it the autonomy will drop drastically to 28 hours.
There is no news on pricing and availability yet, but these new earbuds will certainly compete with their respective bluetooth devices from Apple and Samsung. The AirPods Pro launched at $ 249 while the Galaxy Buds Pro at $ 200, so surely the price of the next OnePlus earphones will be in this range.
