Google is adding a new feature that is very useful to its web search . This is a keyboard shortcut that allows you to quickly reach the text bar , in order to change the search query on the fly.
On the page that shows all the results, just click the “/” button to go directly to the end of the search box . This shortcut does not work on the home page of the site. At the moment, however, this function does not seem to be fully functional : by clicking the appropriate button, a popup is shown at the bottom left (which you can see in the image below), but the cursor is not moved.
In all likelihood, this shortcut is compatible only with keyboards with an American layout , which include the key with the symbol “/” in the first function, but we hope it can also be made compatible with a keyboard with an Italian layout. .
