The pandemic has totally changed the way people live at work, especially as regards the big tech giants: companies like Facebook and Google have moved towards smartworking . Google has announced that will no longer reopen YouTube Spaces .
Launched in 2012, these were full-fledged professional studios available to creators, with cameras , green screen and set of lights , open in some cities of the world such as Berlin , London , New York , Los Angeles , Paris , Rio and Tokyo and created with the intention of increasing the quality of the content to be uploaded to the platform. Obviously, following the pandemic, these had been closed for a long time and the company has decided that they will no longer be active.
Despite this, the YouTube Spaces project will continue to exist : Google aims to create events and workshops totally online , with sporadic live events with a small number of participants.
