In the early afternoon today, the Galaxy Unpacked 2021 event was held, where Samsung presented its new Galaxy Book laptops. Here's everything you need to know about the South Korean company's new series of laptops.
Samsung Galaxy Book The first notebook we are talking about is characterized by an extremely thin design, with a thickness of only 15.4mm, for a maximum weight of 1.59kg.
The display is a 15.6 ”TFT panel with FHD resolution, while several processors are available, strictly 11th generation Intel Core: i3, i5, i7 and Pentium Gold. The related video cards are Intel Iris Xe, Intel UHD and NVIDIA GeForce MX450.
The RAM, LPDDR4X 4266, is 4, 8 or 16GB, while the onboard SSD can reach 512GB of memory.
The battery is 54 WHr and there are LTE connectivity, WiFi AX 2 × 2 and Bluetooth 5.1.
Two USB-C ports, two USB 3.2 ports, HDMI 2.0b input, 3.5mm audio jack and MicroSD card reader complete the picture. The operating system on board is Windows 10, while the colors available are Mystic Silver and Mystic Blue.
Samsung Galaxy Book Pro and Galaxy Book Pro 360 Even more performing are the new Galaxy Book Pro and Galaxy Book Pro 360, which always manage to maintain a very low weight: 870g for the version with 13.3 “display and 1050g for the one with 15.6” display. The front panel, in both cuts, is an AMOLED FHD, VESA DisplayHDR 500.
Under the body we always find 11th Generation Intel processors with support for the Intel EVO platform, accompanied by Intel Iris Xe or UHD or NVIDIA GeForce MX450 GPUs. The RAM sizes available are 8 and 16GB for all versions, except the 15.6 ”ones, also available with 32GB of RAM.
The internal storage can reach up to 1TB on SSD units, while the battery has a capacity of 63WHr in the smaller version and 68WHr in the one with a 15.6 “display.
Book Pro is also equipped with LTE connectivity, while Book Pro 360 also supports 5G networks.
To complete the picture 2 USB-C ports, 2 USB 3.2, a MicroSD reader, AKG Dolby Atmos speakers, 3.5mm audio jack, S-Pen support and fingerprint reader.
Galaxy Book Pro will be available in Mystic Silver, Mystic Blue and Mystic Pink Gold colors; Galaxy Book Pro 360 will be available in Mystic Navy, Mystic Silver and Mystic Bronze editions.

Galaxy Book Pro 360 is available starting today at a starting price of € 1,399, but for the 5G version we will have to wait until August. Galaxy Book Pro is also already available at a starting price of € 1,159.
