Microsoft Edge wants to become a child-friendly browser

Allow your children to surf the Internet with the peace of mind that they will not be able to come across sites or search results that are not suitable for their age . A function similar to the children's channels present in all online streaming services, as simple as it is useful for parents . The novelty is not yet available to everyone, but it was introduced in the Canary version of Microsoft Edge and will then have to switch from the dev channel before landing in the stable one.

Kids mode will be activated from the browser's profile selector and will trigger some limitations: SafeSearch option enabled by default on Bing, customizable themes for the interface and list of approved contents . Parents can rely on Edge's default lists or change which sites are allowed manually via the Family section in the program's settings.
