From this week it is possible for users who use iOS – Apple's operating system for mobile devices – to change and mute the icons on the navigation bar of the Facebook app, and in the next few days the function will also be extended to all Android users. . The function had been in demand for a long time, since not being customizable, the bar signaled notifications that were often irrelevant to the user or that concerned sections not particularly used such as that of videos, which is called Watch, or Marketplace, where used items are sold.
The function that allows you to change the bar or silence notifications is activated by pressing and holding your finger on one of the icons: by doing so, a menu opens with which you can silence the notifications of that specific icon or you can delete it from the bar, which it can be found at the bottom in the iOS version of the app or at the top in the Android version. To add or remove elements in the bar, instead, you need to open the menu by clicking the icon with the three lines, open the “Setting and privacy” section, click on “Settings” and finally go to “Quick links bar”, where you they can deactivate those that do not interest us and activate others.
