Yahoo Mail and other Yahoo services have been having problems for several hours, all over the world. Yahoo confirmed the problems about six hours ago, saying it is working to fix and restore full functionality of all its services. About five hours later he said that the problems persisted, as did the attempts to fix them: the problem, Yahoo says, has been identified but it is not possible to establish how long it will take to fix it.

The Downdetector site, which collects reports on sites that do not work (which are “down”, they say in jargon), talks about problems spread all over the world, with a prevalence of reports coming from the United Kingdom, France, Germany and Italy. Problems for Yahoo users also include the inability to access email services.
