In the late morning of Monday, many users reported malfunctions of the Vodafone network, which also manages the low-cost company Ho. mobile. The peak of notifications on the Downdetector website was at around 1 pm: the notifications came mainly from the big cities, Rome and Milan above all. It is not clear what the reasons for the problem are: Vodafone says that the mobile and fixed network originated from a failure in the “central north of Rome” area.
There was a temporary outage on the network mobile and fixed in the north central area of Rome. Our technicians are working to promptly resolve the problem and verify the causes. We apologize for the inconvenience.

The reports dropped long after 2 pm, and in fact Vodafone communicated that the fault has been resolved and that the service has been restored. Last June, Vodafone's network had a similar but much more extensive and lasting failure.
