Boeing has completed the software update for the 737 Max aircraft, stuck on the ground since last March due to the crash on flight ET302 which took place not far from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. According to the investigations carried out so far, the accident was caused by a problem similar to the one that had previously caused the crash of the Indonesian flight LNI610 near Jakarta, due to the malfunction of the anti-stall system typical of that new model of aircraft. Boeing said it will shortly provide the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the US civil aviation agency, with pilot training data, in order to be certified as being fit to fly.

Boeing also said it has completed simulation testing with the upgraded system and has developed training and education materials that are currently under review by the FAA, civil aviation regulators around the world. world and airlines.
