A few days after the presentation by Samsung of the new Galaxy Fold, among the first smartphones in the world with a screen that folds on itself, today the Chinese company Huawei also presented its foldable phone model. It's called the Mate X and unlike the Galaxy Fold, which is made up of a smaller front screen and a larger one folded inside, it has a single screen that folds outwards.
Also, when opened, the screen measures 8 inches, while the front screen measures 6.6 inches when folded, and the back screen is slightly smaller and 6.36 inches. The difference in size is due to the presence of a handle on the back on which three cameras are positioned. The Mate X will have 8 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal memory and will be available from mid-2019 at the base price of 2,299 euros.
