The Turin-based company Deltatre, specialized in the development of information technologies for sports entertainment, bought the English company Massive Interactive for about 112 million euros. Massive Interactive provides video communications technologies to several major television broadcasters and producers, including the BBC and Sony Pictures. It will now become a division of Deltatre, which with the purchase aims to create a streaming platform for sports content that will compete with those of Disney and Endeavor. Deltatre will also have a thousand employees in eighteen locations around the world. The acquisition is expected to be announced Thursday.
