The Japanese video game company Sega has announced that in the next few months a “mini” version of one of its most famous consoles, the Sega Mega Drive, will be released. The new console, which should be called Sega Mega Drive Mini, was presented yesterday by the CEO of the company Haruki Satomi, who announced its release in Japan in 2018 for its thirtieth anniversary. It is not yet known when it will be released in the rest of the world. At the moment we only know that, as Nintendo had already done with the Super Nintendo Mini, it will be smaller than the original and will allow you to play various games already installed, but the list of available games has not yet been communicated.
