Uber has announced that it has bought the American bike-sharing company Jump Bikes, active in San Francisco and Washington. The deal figure was not disclosed, but a Financial Times source said Uber paid about $ 100 million. Jump Bikes was born in 2017 and in view of 2018 it had promised an expansion of the service in other cities. Already in February it had activated an agreement thanks to which its bicycles can be rented with the Uber app.
