Users who use eBay especially for sales will certainly be happy to know that the platform will lower commissions for non-professional sellers : these will in fact go from 11.7% at 5% on the final value.
Starting from December 22 of this year , the commission on the final value will be 5% for everyone , and not just for those who have signed up to this Promotion (which will expire on 31 December): for the latter, the commission on the final value at 5% will continue to apply even after 31 December 2021 and no action will be required.
This commission is applied indiscriminately to each product sold through the platform and is managed directly by eBay: in addition to the percentage, the fixed amount of € 0.35 per order is also retained, which will remain unchanged . Please note that the variable final value fee is 5% of the total sale amount up to EUR 2,000 and 2% of the share of the total sale amount exceeding the EUR 2,000 threshold.
