One of the highlights that the sixth generation of the Xiaomi bracelet released was its screen to the edges. Precisely, this 1.56-inch AMOLED panel is responsible for shining completely until it becomes a mini flashlight.
Although the illumination that the Mi Smart Band 6 can provide is limited, there is no doubt that it is a function that can be used to get out of trouble on certain occasions when a dedicated flashlight is not at hand.
How to get the flashlight function on the Mi Smart Band 6?
Activating the lighting mode is very easy. First of all, you must have the Mi Fit application in its version 5.3.0 . If you have a lower version, it must be updated from the phone store.
Then, you must proceed to update the firmware of the bracelet to version 1.0.4.38. To do this, enter the application My Fit and touch Profile . Once inside, look for Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 6.
Scroll down to Check for updates . The application will show details of the latest version of the software available for the Mi Smart Band 6. Simply touch Update to start the process.
It should be noted that, for everything to go smoothly, both the bracelet and the mobile must be close. Once updated, enter My iFit and touch on the More section and then on the option Flashlight .
As this is a gradual update, it may not appear on the device yet. According to TizenHelp it is now available in a handful of countries, but it will not take long to reach all users.
