Who is the meme kid? Hasbulla's story

For several months now, on the web – in particular on Instagram and TikTok – the meme of a disconsolate boy in a car has been circulating. Who is the person who appears in this humorous content? It is Hasbulla Magomedov , a boy who, despite having the appearance of a child, is of age. Its appearance is due to a rare growth disorder . In this article we will discover his history and the “rivalry” with Abdu Rozik.

The protagonist of the meme of the boy in the car – which today appears in many ironic images – is Hasbulla Magomedov . This boy, despite his childhood looks, is actually 18 years old and has a growth disorder. Hasbulla comes from Dagestan , a republic of the Russian Federation with just over 3 million inhabitants. This location is located in the southernmost part of Russia, in the North Caucasus Mountains.

During the month of November of 2020, the boy started publishing some posts on Instagram. It went viral in 2021 , after creating comic skits that, in no time, made their way around the web. Hasbulla is also known as Mini Khabib . In fact, in some videos, the young man imitates the fighting style of Khabib Nurmagomedov, a well-known Russian mixed martial arts fighter.

In November 2021, Hasbulla Magomedov posted a photo of himself inside a car on his Instagram profile. The image quickly went around the web, also arriving in Italy.

There are also many videos in which the boy and Abdu Rozik – an eighteen year old from the Republic of Tajikistan with a rare growth disorder – create skits (including a fake press conference and some alleged quarrels). This type of content has turned Hasbulla into a real web star .

The boy is now an influencer: his Instagram account has 1.7 million followers . His followers are very active and support the web star. Her selfie with the cat got over 208,000 “likes”.

Scrolling through the Instagram or TikTok feed, a cute little boy often appears tasting a huge burger. His name is Abdu Rozik , an 18-year-old boy who had to deal with a rare growth disorder.

Abdu is originally from Tajikistan , a state bordering Afghanistan to the south and China to the east. It was probably born in 2003, but little information is available. He got famous singing some rap songs .

The barely legal influencers – who have the appearance of two children, probably due to a form of rickets – have been joined by a hypothetical meeting of MMA (mixed martial arts). Several videos have been published on the web in which the two boys seem to be in the process of arguing.

Despite the thousands of kilometers that separate them, Hasbulla and Abdu confronted each other in a heated way during a fake press conference . This hypothetical meeting has generated bitter controversy. The head of the Russian Dwarf Athletic Association has disassociated himself.

We hear more and more of “ meme “, humorous content – mainly images, videos or actions – that quickly go viral, often leaving a footprint in the media. Memes – which are born to entertain users – are spread mainly through social networks: there are many pages that, by personalizing the memes of the moment, create funny or bizarre contents.

Some internet memes develop into specific groups, others – as in the case of Hasbulla's photo – come to different parts of the world . Sometimes they are used to do commercial advertising : some companies are also using this humorous content to attract potential customers.

There are numerous memes that have become viral . Some examples? The two Spider-Man who point to each other (a scene from the 1960s cartoon), “Don't look at them Ricky” (from the webcomic Extra Fabulous Comics), the factor with work dungarees (David Brandt) and the now iconic Hide the Pain Harold (one of the most famous memes in the world).
