The strange thing about the introduction of the renewed home appliances is that it came immediately after explaining the virtues of the new Android-based OS for their mobiles. The company claims that global shipments of its air purifiers have exceeded 16 million units ; that is, the public likes this type of product. And with the persistence of the COVID-19 pandemic, they continue to be among the most sought after.
Xiaomi's Smart Air Purifier 4 line consists of three versions: Lite, standard and Pro. The first is useful for spaces between 25 and 30 square meters, and the second is for rooms of between 30 and 50 m². However, during the presentation they focused on the last one; the Pro variant promises high efficiency and higher performance in air purification in sectors of up to 60 square meters. This is due to the incorporation of a 3-in-1 filter system, which uses electrostatic charging and mechanical filtering.
According to the Asian firm, its top-of-the-line air purifier is capable of trapping 99.97% of the contaminants present in the air, even the smallest down to 0.3 microns . And to achieve its promised efficiency, the device incorporates PM2.5 and PM10 particle sensors. Xiaomi ensures that the filters of the Smart Air Purifier 4 line have a useful life of between 6 and 12 months.

Like any connected gadget, the Smart Air Purifier 4 line includes support for voice commands through Alexa and the Google Assistant, and can be controlled from the Xiaomi app for home devices. In addition, it has an OLED touch screen on the front that shows important information such as temperature and humidity.
