In the last few days we have had the opportunity to try Aukey EP-T10, a pair of completely wireless earphones that stand out especially for the design of the case, which is reminiscent of a small bar of soap.
In the inevitable comparison with Apple's AirPods 2 they offer the same possibility of charging the case simply by placing them on a wireless charging plate but the conformation is completely different and are more suitable for sports especially because of the in-ear rubbers accompanied by a practical and stable mini-fin.
How they are made
The earphones are first and foremost very light (6 grams), they are made of polycarbonate and covered with a rubberized finish in a color close to mouse gray. They have the shape of a bean with a small protuberance that slips into the ear and to which an in-ear rubber is attached (size M, but in the package there are also sizes S and L to adapt to the various conformations of the ear cavity) accompanied by a mini-fin that greatly improves stability.
The headphone grille that protects the drivers is metal, a great choice considering that most of the competitors limit themselves to a weaker silicone or plastic grille. On the external surface of each earphone there is a touch surface surrounded by a metal ring that guarantees the control of music playback, phone calls and the activation of the voice assistant based on the type of touch made. It is accompanied by an LED indicator useful for knowing the status of the Bluetooth connection with the smartphone.
The 2 metal contacts are clearly visible on the internal surface that allow the internal battery to be recharged by hooking up to the special pins on the charging case, to which they are firmly fixed through a small but magnet.
The Aukey EP-T10 charging case, as we said, is really special. With the two earphones inserted it weighs a total of 63 grams and has the shape of a small circular soap bar. The internal housing is accessed by rotating the upper half clockwise or anti-clockwise, which will slide by touching the lower one to reveal the compartment with the two openings in which the two earphones are stored.
Along the frame of the case there are, on one side, the 4 LED indicators that allow you to know the state of charge of the internal battery while on the other hand there is the USB-C socket that allows it to be recharged. As we said, the case also incorporates a coil that enables wireless charging simply by placing them on a charging pad.

How are they doing
After pairing them all that remains is to put them in your ears and press the Play button on your favorite playlist. The audio is really great and at the maximum volume level also quite powerful, allowing us to completely isolate ourselves from the buzz of a playground thanks also to the good soundproofing guaranteed by the in-ear rubber pads.
The highs are clear and bright, the mids full-bodied and the lows quite present, without ever exaggerating. The impression you get is that of a well-balanced audio and never exaggerated in any of the frequencies, thus offering the user the free choice to equalize the bands as they prefer through their music player.
The autonomy is very good: they play for about 2 hours before switching off and, thanks to the battery incorporated in the case, they can be fully recharged several times, thus bringing the total autonomy to almost 24 hours.
As for the wireless charging of the case, we can only report the actual possibility given that this reporter does not currently have a charging pad – which until now would have been unused as this is the first device enabled for this charging system – to be able to test it. and describe how it works.

Conclusions
Aukey EP-T10 earphones are very comfortable to wear and exceptionally stable in the ears. They have good battery life and the touch controls are reliable and responsive. They also support wireless charging, so just place them on a charging pad to restore their internal battery without having to plug in any cables.
Price
Those interested in buying them will find them for sale on Amazon at a price of 99 euros, a price consistent with the quality of the product and clearly increased by the presence of a wireless charging system.
