In the past few days we have had the opportunity to try a one-shoulder bag with a serious and elegant look due to its leather-like cover, perfect for a man who needs such a bag to use on the commute from home to work and on daily trips around the city. .
It has several pockets that allow you to adequately separate the contents and also has an eye for technology: thanks to the external USB socket it is in fact possible to recharge a smartphone or tablet and continue to use it hands-free.
How it is made
The first thing to say is that this bag is “without a name”: the manufacturer is not even listed on the sales sheet and there are no printed labels or trademarks attributable to the company that makes it. It is mainly made of a material that simulates animal skin, not only aesthetically but also in softness.
In the past we have dealt with leather-like bags but here the realization is remarkable: the fabric remains very soft and pleasant to touch, although just out of the box it is impossible not to notice the strong chemical smell that completely covers it.
The seams look very good and the strap to hang it on the shoulder is apparently sturdy too. In some ways it resembles a car seat belt but is more flexible. Excellent choice is the metal buckle, which is very smooth and allows you to easily adjust the length of the shoulder strap according to your needs.
In our opinion it would have been better to be able to shorten it a little more to allow it to be worn without problems even for people of short stature: the writer is 1.70 cm tall and at the minimum length available (59 cm for the band, including the back and the back of the bag the overall circumference is roughly a little more than double), the bag falls a little too low, ending up bouncing with every step. The zips are very sturdy and slide smoothly, ensuring quick access to the contents of the pockets they protect.
As we said this bag is also a bit technological as it incorporates a USB socket on one side. It is facing downwards, so it will be slightly protected from the rain, and it can be used or not: the USB cable is in fact removable, so just remove it and close the zip that protects it to completely ignore this function. If you decide to use it, access to the cable is present in the largest pocket and therefore can easily accommodate a 20-30,000 mAh powerbank.

Distribution of Free space
The smaller pocket is big enough to hold a bunch of keys, ID card or an old-fashioned mobile phone (we put our trusty Nokia 3310 2017 edition in there). The front pocket measures approximately 16 x 15 centimeters and is thick enough to hold a wallet, smartphone, notebook with pen, a packet of tissues and little else.
The larger pocket, on the other hand, is large enough to hold a 7-8 '' tablet, an E-reader and a powerbank together. There is also another pocket of the same size, the only one not protected by a zipper but kept sufficiently locked by a carabiner, in which less precious objects can be stored, such as a suitably folded k-way to pull. outside in case of rain or a bottle of water.
How is it going
We tried this bag for a few days. There are two features that we appreciated the most: first of all, despite the small size, there is really a lot of space for all the most useful objects in everyday life. In addition to the aforementioned objects, we have placed the Amuchina in gel for the hands, a cloth bag for shopping and a case containing cables, chargers and other small hi-tech items.
The weight is well discharged on the shoulder thanks to the wide band on which the bag rests and the shoulder strap is so smooth as to allow you to quickly move the bag on the front to be able to access one of the pockets without having to remove it from the shoulder.
If emptied of most of the content it can be flattened very much and the presence of a USB socket was essential on more than one occasion as it allowed us to recharge the tablet while continuing to use it during the day to consult the maps or to recharge. the smartphone while we continued to use it to take some pictures.
Conclusions
This bag is on sale on GearBest for about 31 euros and this price is basically in line with the overall quality of the product. It is well finished and very elegant, it can be used indiscriminately by men and women even in the office or in contexts where it is necessary to maintain a certain elegance. There is room for everything you need on a day away from home and the USB socket is the real killer feature.
