Google Meet is adding a number of new features designed to expand the controls in a single meeting and keep it free from interruptions. The main addition is the ability to delegate up to 25 co-organizers per meeting.
The new co-hosting feature makes it easy to moderate each meeting with the new controls that Google recently unveiled. These include the ability to enable or disable screen sharing, limit who can chat, mute all attendees with one click, and end the meeting for everyone.
Until now, adding co-hosts was only available to Google Workspace for Education customers. Also, another addition is the quick access settings, which allow organizers to choose who can automatically join a meeting and who should first request permission. The option is on by default, so meeting attendees from your domain will be able to join automatically, from mobile or desktop.
