It is in fact designed to be used both at home and on the road: in the package there is a practical case to store it together with two heads, thus being able to be used for example in pairs with your partner during a holiday.
It is also built very well although it is sold at a rather low price (at the time of writing the cost is around 24 euros). It is an electric toothbrush that uses sonic technology (to be clear, the same technology underlying the most popular Philips Sonicare toothbrushes) capable of vibrating up to 40,000 times per minute.

From this point of view, Alfawise BH-126 has nothing to envy to other electric toothbrushes. Constructively it is excellent: the plastic that makes up the body appears really solid and very robust. It is also pleasant to touch due to the satin finish that covers it and the three strips in relief on the back greatly improve its grip, especially if you have wet hands.
The color is black and you may not like it, as well as clashing with the light colors and the white ceramic that in most cases characterizes the classic bathroom environment, but apart from the color it is still quite elegant even in the lines and in the chrome plating of the head. and of the push button panel.
The two heads included in the package have the bristles of a classic, elongated shape, with two depressions that allow the brush to be placed on the dental arch ensuring a rather deep cleaning. They are quite soft, so they are unlikely to bleed delicate gums especially when used at low vibration levels.
The charging base is similar to many others: a protruding plug slides millimetrically into the opening on the bottom of the handle to recharge the internal battery. It is a completely waterproof system and guarantees a completely safe use even if water should accidentally end up on it. Just dry it well and the recharge will still take place safely and smoothly.
The travel case also seemed very good to us: it looks a lot like hard cases for glasses but obviously it is longer as it has to accommodate both the handle and two heads. This too is built really well, it is sturdy and apparently able to withstand the weight of clothes and other objects that could be stored on it.
The closing system, on the other hand, is a bit weak: to open it you don't even need to press on the central area where the hooking clip is present, so following a fall it could open easily. The idea of placing four rubber feet on the bottom was appreciated, thus allowing it to be placed even on glass surfaces avoiding scratching them.

How does it work
It is not a connected electric toothbrush, so the functions are few but still essential and sufficient for its use. The On / Off button allows you to start and stop the vibration, the button located below it (it is marked with an arrow pointing downwards) allows you to adjust the intensity of the vibration on 10 levels. There is a small LED display where you can read the number of the set level (1 is the minimum, 0 which actually corresponds to 10, is the maximum).
To recharge the battery, simply insert the handle into the special plug on the charging base. The battery-shaped LED indicator will glow green when the battery is fully charged.
The tooth brushing time recommended by dentists is 2 minutes and Alfawise BH-126 knows it well: during use, every 30 seconds, the vibration will stop for about half a second, thus allowing us to mentally count the time spent cleaning. and reminding us to change arches. After 2 minutes it will turn off automatically.
The toothbrush also has a small internal memory that will remember the vibration intensity set previously, so if the preferred value is “6” it will not have to be adjusted again in subsequent uses.

How is it going
The main feature of the Alfawise BH-126 is in the operating system. Being a toothbrush with sonic technology, it uses high intensity vibration to break down and remove plaque during daily cleaning sessions. When turned on, the bristles vibrate at a decided intensity, which can be selected according to personal preferences.
At this point it is necessary to clarify that, for the writer, this is the “first time” with a toothbrush equipped with sonic technology, having used Oral-B brand electric toothbrushes for the longest time, which instead use mechanical brushing.
In this case, the sensation during cleaning reflects a solely subjective aspect, in this specific case to the advantage of the old Oral-B, but we realize that making a close comparison with this model would not make sense for several reasons, precisely because of the different technologies that the two devices exploit to achieve their goal.
Beyond personal sensations, which make us prefer the typical solutions of a mechanical electric toothbrush, such as the Alfawise BH-126 offers a wide number of options and functions ideal for those who want to approach sonic technology: 5 brushing modes, each with two adjustable levels, to meet different oral care needs; integrated 800 mAh battery that guarantees an autonomy of 25 days by brushing your teeth twice a day, IPX7 certification that allows you to use it comfortably under running water, and two heads included.
Conclusions
The Alfawise BH-126 is therefore an interesting product for anyone who wants to try an electric toothbrush equipped with sonic technology for the first time. In fact, it offers a good range of features at an extremely very advantageous.
The 25 days of autonomy, the different brushing methods, the practical transport packaging (perfect for those who need to carry the toothbrush comfortably on the road), the waterproof certification and the paltry cost of the replacement heads, sold at prices, are tempting. significantly lower than devices with more famous brands.
