Flame Bulb review, the LED bulb that simulates fire

Home Reviews ,,,,, The fire that doesn't burn? Recreate it at home with Flame Bulb, an LED bulb tested by our editorial staff that simulates the visual crackle of fire.

It is a lamp with dimensions similar to those of a fluorescent bulb: the luminous part is 11.5 cm long while considering also the E27 socket to screw it to the lamp holder it is 18.5 cm long (diameter about 5.5 cm). It is made entirely of white plastic, semi-opaque in the bright part, and with the E27 fitting obviously in metal.

To put it into operation, all you have to do is screw it to any compatible lamp holder and turn on the switch: an orange light will instantly turn on that will visually simulate the classic crackle of the fire through probably a series of small LEDs located in several points inside. of the lamp.

There are no adjustments of any kind: the effect is automatic and the movement of the light is random, just as there is no pattern in the movement of the flames of a fireplace or a small lantern. And it is precisely within the latter that a lamp of this type can make the difference: on Amazon just search for “lamp holder lantern” to come across a series of interesting solutions, such as the half lantern to hang on the wall sold for only 15 euros. .

For clarity we attach below a small animated gif that we recorded during one of our home tests:
