AOSO G18 review, the Bluetooth headphones for athletes

Home CasaVerdeSmart ,,,,, There are so many types of headphones and earphones available nowadays for smartphones and tablets. This time Cyber Layman tests the AOSO G18 bluetooth earphones, with an aggressive design, for sportsmen who are already thinking about jogging after the holidays, to get back in shape after the big binges.

It is a particularly economical peripheral, which does not renounce, first of all, a pleasant design, as long as you love strong colors and don't let the size scare you. Despite being in-ear headphones, in fact, they have rather protruding drivers, which in terms of size far exceed the measures of other competing products. However, they are very light, and once worn, you hardly notice them. Moreover, thanks to the particular plastic headband, they are stable to the ears, so that even during the run there is no risk of losing them. The earphones use the latest bluetooth 4.1 technology, but are linked together by a rubber wire, which can be adjusted thanks to a small plastic slot inside the sales bundle. In addition to the MicroUSB cable for charging, additional silicone rubber pads of various sizes are also available to better adapt the earphones to your ear.

While on the left earphone there is the MicroUSB input for charging, on the right one there is the multifunctional key, for on / off / pairing and the keys to adjust the volume, in addition to the microphone hole that allows you to make calls. If from the point of view of aesthetics and comfort nothing can be objected to the headphones, on the audio quality it is necessary to accept some compromise, considering the really low cost of these headphones.

How they sound

The volume is particularly loud and, although these are not on-ear headphones, they still offer slight isolation from the surrounding area. This is certainly a positive factor, considering that these are headphones suitable for jogging, or physical activity to be carried out in any case outdoors, in usually noisy areas. There are some reservations about the actual quality: in particular, the sound is particularly cold, whatever the musical genre you are listening to. The lack of low notes is normal, but in general the sound is shallow and full-bodied, not very enveloping. The singers' voice, however, is always clearly perceptible, and without any kind of disturbance; for this reason, in fact, even the calls are pleasantly made. Obviously, the sound quality also depends a lot on the positioning of the headset, which is why it is advisable to try the various rubber pads available in the box, to better adapt the headset to your ear.

The autonomy is absolutely average, with a music reproduction that is around 5 hours, while in stand-by you will forget to have to recharge them. They enjoy the IPX4 certification, therefore resistant against splashes of water and rain, fog and mist, and of course against sweat.

Conclusions

Aggressive design, very pleasant in the green and gray color on test; they are comfortable and suitable for running, also allowing voice calls. These are not audiophile headphones, and it couldn't be otherwise considering the very low cost, but in general the audio quality could have been slightly better.

On Amazon they cost 23.99 euros; can be purchased from here.
