Android app support may be delayed for Windows 11, but there are good signs that the feature is well underway thanks to the latest Microsoft Store listing for the Amazon Appstore.
The listing was identified by the WalkingCat leaker, who provided a link to the listing for the Amazon Appstore preview. The latter will be the official way for Windows 11 users to be able to download Android apps natively, regardless of whether the device is powered by Intel, AMD, or ARM-based chips.
While Windows 11 is expected to be fully launched in early October, Microsoft has stated that support for Android apps will not be available from the first official release. Until then, users will have to stick to the Microsoft Your Phone app if they want to use their Android apps on their laptops, but only use a Samsung Galaxy.
