According to recent rumors, Samsung is also preparing to equip its mid-range devices with 108MP cameras, so far only seen on premium models.
According to the Korean newspaper Thelec, the first “non Ultra” device equipped with a 108MP sensor (with OIS) will be Galaxy A73. It is still early to know the exact model chosen by the manufacturer, which may not coincide with the sensor seen on the S21 Ultra.
This is not an absolute novelty, given that Xiaomi with Note 10 Pro had already brought sensors of this type to the mid-range, but it is still good news for users to find more and more advanced components even on cheaper devices.
However, it is not surprising that the model chosen by Samsung is the A73: its predecessor, Galaxy A72, is a device that focuses heavily on the photographic sector, with a 64MP main sensor accompanied by 3 other cameras.
Obviously we are still talking about rumors, for the confirmation of which we will have to wait for the first three months of 2022, a period in which the official presentation of the device should take place.
