If you want to add a wireless charger to your desk or table, then Ikea may have just what you need. The latest product from the Swedish company is a wireless charging pad that can be added to the bottom of a table and charges the phone via the Qi wireless standard.
It's called Sjömärke, it costs $ 39.99 and works with plastic and wood between three eight inches and seven eight inches thick. “BPP” stands for Baseline Power Profile and, as the name suggests, is the base Qi 1.2.4 charging rate.
While the Qi 1.2 is technically capable of 15W charging speeds, it is likely to be limited to keep the table from getting too hot. In addition, the new Ikea project also comes with stickers, so you can place them on the table and see at a glance where exactly the chargers are located.
