Google continues its commitment to offer its users maximum transparency regarding advertisements: a few months ago, the company announced an advertiser identification program and has now submitted the “advertiser pages”.
These are accessible via the button with the letter “i” usually placed next to the listings and then clicking on the item “About this ad”: the pages will show information about who commissioned the advertisement, such as how many ads were shown, based on which parameters and obviously whether or not it is a verified advertiser.
In the event that users notice violations of the guidelines, they will be able to report everything to BigG directly from this screen in a very simple way. Advertiser pages will launch over the next few months in the US and roll out gradually to more countries in 2022.
