Google Lens arrives on Chrome desktop, soon also in the Google app for iOS

There are important news for Google and its various search tools after the SearchOn event that took place a few hours ago. In this context, some news has also arrived for Google Lens.

The first consists in the landing of Lens on Chrome for desktop version . The images in the gallery show how it will be possible to use Google Lens , BigG's popular search and automatic image recognition service, to identify or search for images ) present in web content visited through Chrome for desktop. This novelty will be accessible after pressing the right mouse button on the image in question.

The search for images using Lens will also be possible on specific parts of the article , by manually selecting the area. The results will be shown through a side panel that will open on the screen, conceptually similar to the one present on Android.

In fact, the service will also arrive in the Google app for iOS : the animation you find in the gallery shows how it will be possible to search Lens via the link “ Search images ” in the bottom bar of the browser the Google app. The search area will be automatically highlighted and followed by the classic Lens animation that we have already seen on Android.
