6 reasons to use Satispay these days

Staying at home as much as possible, as you have to do these days, complicates daily life in various ways, practical and psychological: those who live alone suffer a bit of loneliness, those who have children at home must find a way to entertain them, and those who do not have a balcony or a courtyard available also see the sidewalk under the house as a very desirable destination. Through the internet and online services, however, isolation is much more manageable than it would have been 30 years ago. We have streaming services, those for ordering groceries and meals at home, and video calling, among other things. Even payments, including those of fines and similar bulletins, are much simpler and can be done from the sofa: Satispay allows you to do it very comfortably.

Satispay is an Italian payment app that allows you to make purchases in many shops and restaurants using your phone, once you have linked your account to a bank account. These days it can be useful in various ways – and by entering the ILPOST code you receive a “welcome bonus” of 5 euros.

Shopping without exchanging cash or contacting a POS
Despite the restrictions and the need to limit social contacts, you can clearly go out for shopping . In some supermarkets, however, you can take an additional precaution, in addition to keeping away from other people present and not touching your face before returning home and washing your hands: in the Esselunga, Pam and Naturasì chain stores, yes you can pay with Satispay. In this way you avoid the passage of cash touched by other people and it is not even necessary to place a credit card or smartphone at the POS: you do everything by holding your phone in your hand.

Update of 19 May 2020: Satispay can also be used in the supermarkets Carrefour, Iper La grande i, Unes Supermercati, Sigma, Bennet and Conad center-north.

Paying bills
Satispay can be used to pay bills (white, pre-branded and bank bills, both RAV and MAV) and public administration notices : so you don't need to go to the post office – although they are open, why go there when you can avoid them, these days more than usual – to pay a fine that has come down to us. To do this, go to the services section and then select “pagoPA” or “Bulletins”. It is enough to frame the bulletin in full for the Satispay app to recognize the data: you don't need to be there with someone who dictates the numbers of an IBAN. The app can also be used to pay for car and motorcycle stamps, in case someone needs to do it these days. The cost of each payment operation of a bulletin is 1 euro.

Save
In addition to making payments, Satispay can be used as a tool to try and save some money. Being always at home, the opportunities to spend are reduced – if you do not go overboard with online shopping – and you can take the opportunity to set a sum to set aside every month or every week to get to buy that certain expensive thing that you has been on a “wish list” for a while or to take a vacation, when you can return to travel safely.

Also from “Services”, on the Satispay app, you can access the “Savings” section and create a digital piggy bank: you can use it to collect the rest of each purchase made with Satispay rounded up to the euro (to be clear, if you pay € 5 and € 30 set aside 70 euro cents) or cashback (an immediate percentage refund that the customer can receive immediately after completing a purchase, in some stores), or to set aside the same amount of money every month or every week. You can also set the goal you want to achieve, whether it's an electric scooter, a real audiophile turntable system or a Dyson curling iron.

Pay off a debt with friends
Current government restrictions to limit the further spread of the coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) will last until April 3 , but it may be that even later it will be better to avoid most of the occasions of meeting with friends. If someone had a debt to pay for a dinner or a group gift – which perhaps is being organized in these days, for someone who turns years in this period and who still wants to celebrate with a package sent home – Satispay yes can use to exchange small amounts of money between friends. Just go to the address book of your contacts through the app (you can see all the people in your address book who have a Satispay account) and then indicate the amount to be sent.

Recharge the phone
This function could be useful for those who need to quickly recharge their phone or that of a loved one after yet another video call these days . Satispay allows you to top up the credit of a phone number, your own but not only (the app directly accesses the phone book of the smartphone on which it is installed so it's all very convenient), for the main telephone companies and more: Vodafone, Tim , WindTre, Ho Mobile, CoopVoce, Fastweb, Tiscali, Poste Mobile, Digi Mobil, Lycamobile and 1Mobile.

Make a donation to the Civil Protection
For some days now Satispay can also be used to contribute to a fundraiser for the Civil Protection: all the money raised will be used for National health service and in particular the purchase of useful tools to contain the infection from SARS-CoV-2, such as the masks that are used in hospitals. To contribute, simply access the “Donations” section, also from “Services”. So far more than 600 thousand euros have been collected and new donations continue to arrive.

Disclaimer: we repeat it even if it probably is you already understood, this is a sponsored article and the Post gets a small revenue if you decide to try the app starting from this link and / or entering the promo code ILPOST.
