Jack Dorsey, founder and CEO of Twitter , has announced his resignation: not only will he be stepping down from his role as CEO, but will be leaving completely from the company, which he founded in 2006.
He announced it on Twitter, posting a screenshot of the email he sent to employees. In the message he communicates that the new CEO will be the former CTO Parag Agrawal , and claims his decision, taken for the good of the company, that he will no longer have to submit to the influences of its founder.
Over the years, Dorsey had given the impression of being a very thoughtful and self-critical person, so much so that he was often viewed as the opposite of Facebook founder and CEO, Mark Zuckerberg.
