A working model of Apple-I, the first computer to be made by the famous US company, sold for $ 375,000 at an auction held in Boston (Massachusetts). It is estimated that just under a hundred Apple-I still exist in the world, but there are only a handful of them that work. The computer was assembled by Steve Wozniak, on the recommendation of Steve Jobs who had glimpsed the commercial opportunities of the new product. Apple-I went on sale in 1976 at a price of $ 666.66 at the time, nearly $ 3,000 today. Wozniak and Jobs sold around 200 in their first year of operation, thanks to an agreement with a retailer in Palo Alto, California, where Apple still has its headquarters today.
