Home Reviews ,,,,, It will not be the most technological object on the market, but every now and then we like to disconnect from the routine to make room for objects that we usually use in everyday life. Today we put the Alfawise RHC5000 to the test, the cheapest electric shaver for men in the world. It costs just € 10.44 and can be purchased directly from here.
Alfawise is a new brand, which many have already compared to Xiaomi. Not only because it actually seems to offer quality items at very competitive prices, such as the Dyson-style cordless vacuum cleaner that Cyber Layman reviewed at this address. Even the razor on test has a price out of the ordinary: just 10 euros. The sales package offers everything necessary for correct operation and first use.
First of all, the razor, which is actually almost as big as a common razor blade, and has an absolutely negligible weight. Included in the bundle the battery charger and three heads for a 1, 3 or 5 mm shave. It grips well, thanks to a handle with a fairly rough and rubbery pattern: on the one hand, the touch and feel is absolutely excellent, and the handle is non-slip. The central button allows you to turn it on and off, without being able to adjust the speed of the vibrations. Aesthetics and comfort promoted with flying colors.
How it works and what it is for
Actually the advertised uses of this Alfawise RHC5000 are different. In theory, you could completely shave your beard, but from our tests it seems that the razor is more suitable for thinning or making precision beard cuts. And in fact, although the blade is very sharp, making a complete beard cut would take really too much time and numerous passes. Where the razor gives its best is in shaping beards or sideburns. For precision cuts it is absolutely suitable, while for completely shaving, especially in the case of a very thick beard, it presents some uncertainty.
The included blade turns out to be very slender, and moreover offers a double sense of shaving: it is possible, in fact, to cut both with the upper edge and with the lower one. The razor offers IPX4 certification, therefore absolutely resistant to water splashes: this is a feature to be appreciated considering the use in the bathroom, therefore almost always in contact with water splashes.
Quite quiet, it certainly turns out to be usable even during the night, without disturbing those who may rest in the surrounding rooms: certainly, it is much less noisy than a larger traditional electric razor.
What puzzles us is the lack of a spare blade inside the package: it is also true that the cost of the razor is so low, that it would not be possible to ask for additional accessories included in the sales bundle.
Conclusions
For those who love to shape the beard Alfawise RHC5000 is absolutely an advisable tool. It costs very little, but is well built and holds really well in the hand. The vibration returns a pleasant sensation on the skin, and does not bother. The times of use are really close to the 60 minutes declared by the manufacturer, with a recharge that takes about 120 minutes of time. If you plan to shave completely using the razor in question it may take a long time and a lot of patience. Purchase recommended for those who need precision cuts.
It costs just over 10 euros and can be purchased from here .
