Amazon already has its alternative to AirPods Pro for sale. The company has launched the second-generation Echo Buds in Spain, true wireless devices announced a few months ago in the United States that include interesting features , such as active noise cancellation sound or Alexa compatibility, at a more attractive price than Apple headphones.
The Amazon Echo Buds 2 arrive in two colors; black and white, and looking very similar to Samsung's Galaxy Buds Pro. The earphones are rounded, stemless and with interchangeable ear pads so they can fit better in the ear. They also include IPX4 resistance, so they can be used, for example, for sports. However, the highlight of these Echo Buds is their functions. One of them is the active noise cancellation, which allows you to isolate the external sound. It also has an “environment” mode, which activates the microphones so that the user can hear what is happening around.
Another of the most notable features of these Amazon Echo Buds 2 is the compatibility with Alexa . It is possible to summon the assistant through the classic voice command, and it works in a similar way to an Amazon Echo. They include the ability to play a song or album, search for information, say what the weather is like, what time it is, etc. Of course, Alexa can also control playback and some parameters of the headphones, such as activating noise cancellation or volume control.
The Amazon Echo Buds 2 have up to 15 hours of autonomy and are available for less than 150 euros
Regarding autonomy, the Amazon Echo Buds support 5 hours of music playback on a single charge. Taking into account the loads that the case can do, the headphones offer up to 15 hours of music. On the other hand, with a charge of 15 minutes you can get two hours of music playback. The case charges via cable, although Amazon also sells a model with a wireless charging compatible case.
Amazon's new headphones can now be pre-purchased in Spain at a price of 119.99 euros for the model with cable charging case. While the version with a wireless charging case is available for 139.99 euros. As usual with the company's devices, during the first days of launch both versions have a discount, in this case, 33 and 29% respectively. The Echo Buds with a conventional case, therefore, can be purchased for 79.99 euros, while the version with wireless charging is available for 99.99 euros.
