An annoying Gmail Web bug does not display some emojis correctly

For those who usually use the Web version of Gmail , an anomaly affecting its emoji will surely be noticed. If a user inserts a particular emoji into the body of the email, such as the law woman, what the recipient will see if read via PC will be a square enclosing the woman's emoji and the scales of justice.

The cause of this bug would be the web client's inability to be able to translate the small images correctly. Documenting this problem is the same Emojipedia , which has released a long in-depth article stating that Google has not yet succeeded to update the way Gmail Web performs these translations.

It seems that at the moment a solution that solves this problem has not yet been found , but it is legitimate to underline that it has nothing to do with the versions for Android and iOS. In fact, the offending emojis, if viewed through the appropriate mobile app, will be correctly used. It will therefore be up to Google to resolve this problem as soon as possible, considering that its e-mail service is among the most popular in the world.
