The Andoer AN7000 is part of a family of cameras for outdoor activities that have a mix that is not always perfect and balanced. In some cases we have interesting products, in other cases disappointing. This is the case of the C5 that we experimented with for a few days and then left aside, giving up on presenting it as it is of too low quality. But for the Andoer AN7000 the speech is different both for the quality and for the relationship between price and performance.
Andoer AN7000 has the aesthetics of a thousand other cameras on the market, and not it differs too much from any ordinary GoPro Hero. It has dimensions of 6.1 x 4.2 x 2.3 cm, for a very low weight of 79 grams. On the front the classic button for the ignition, while on the upper part we find the button for shooting. On the side the buttons to move between the menus. This is a traditional placement for Andoer cameras, and those who have already tested them in the past will immediately find themselves at ease.
The main features include the 16MP Sony IMX117 sensor and the Ambarella A12S75 chipset. It has a 170-degree lens and a 2-inch rear screen, non-touch screen. It also has a WiFi module, and among the main advantages, once the package is opened, a myriad of related accessories. Among them, the case for scuba diving, guaranteed up to 60 meters, at least judging by the Amazon card. On other occasions, for similar chambers, we have ascertained that the declared depths are not too precise, and the advice is not to push these chambers too deep. In any case, after a few dives, it will be advisable to check the conditions of the chamber, and to change the plastic door, which is included as a spare part.
The quality of the camera is, this time, ensured by the Ambarella A12 processor, also mounted on other Andoer cameras, such as the AN8000 and the Andoer C5, which in version 1.05 is unusable due to a software bug, which cannot be updated by the user. It is a chip capable of handling the resolution [emailprotected] fps without, although the best of itself provides it in 1080p recording at 60 FPS, or even 2.7k. The advice, therefore, is to take advantage of this camera for recordings up to 2.7k, while in case you need to capture 4K movies, it will be necessary to spend certainly higher figures. Also because, the image stabilizer can only be activated at 1080p @ 60fps, not at higher resolutions. He works well enough, and even from this point of view one can remain largely satisfied.
The colors captured by the camera are quite natural, not too bright or saturated, but still well balanced. That the colors correspond to reality is immediately perceived with the blue of the sky, even if the camera suffers, like most of the action cam on the same price range, from the sun's rays. As the rays enter the frame, there are areas burned by the sun, particularly tending to white. Good, however, the change of exposure, when you go out in a dark area, to enter a very bright one, or vice versa, the sensor is well suited. Like many other cameras in the same price range, the best recordings are obtained in the open air, in sunlight, while the indoor ones, albeit well made, suffer slightly from video noise.
The audio captured by the camera is good, managing to capture sounds even at medium distances. Obviously, without the necessary precautions, the room suffers particularly from the wind, in the absence of which, however, the environmental noises are of excellent workmanship. In short, net of the wind, the audio recording is clean, without distortions, whistles or rustles.
In terms of autonomy, the camera relies on a 1050 mAh battery. During our tests, carrying out continuous interventions to change the resolutions, we have well exceeded the half hour. This means that by maintaining a fixed resolution, you will be able to get to about 40/50 minutes of recording.

As for the photographs, as is often the case with most action cameras, they do not represent the best aspect. Nonetheless, Andoer AN7000 allows you to take some nice shots, especially when the subjects to be captured are close to the lens. It loses some detail in the long-range photos, but they remain pleasant. Certainly. a mid-range smartphone can take better shots.

Conclusions
The Andoer AN7000 is a totally different camera than the C5. If we preferred not to even carry out the review of the latter model, Andoer AN7000 is an absolutely recommended purchase. We tested it at the same time as a more expensive Yi 4K, against which it does not look bad at all. The presence of numerous accessories, such as the underwater case, and the hooks for helmets and bikes represent an added value, considering that if purchased separately, they require at least a cost of 30 or 40 euros.
