Home Reviews ,,,,, If you need a bag to carry the computer to the office, give the Inateck bag a chance, with a really interesting quality / price ratio. We tried the 15 '' model for a few days, which proved to be more than up to our needs.
It is an aesthetically very simple bag, with a sober and elegant design, thin enough not to clutter but sufficiently padded to protect the computer. It has a solid handle for carrying by hand and there is the possibility of carrying it on the shoulder with the detachable shoulder strap, accompanied by a buttonhole that improves comfort when placed on the shoulder. The large front pocket for mouse, power supply and little else is very practical.
How it's made
The case is made entirely of fabric. The outer one is similar to Tweed, very resistant and – reads the technical data sheet – waterproof: we did not try to take it for a walk in the rain, we tried to splash it with water and found that it actually does not seem to be absorbed, rather the drops slip away with a simple shake. Aesthetically, as already explained, it is very simple. We find a solid hinge on one side, wide enough to allow our MacBook Pro retina 15 '' to be easily inserted, although in reality there is still some space left: it can actually accommodate even slightly thicker computers.
On the upper side there is instead the orange-brown leather-like handle that can be extracted and returned to position when not in use: everything is managed by an elastic system that “stretches” the handle just enough to be grasped by the hand .
The hinges are of the tear-resistant type, so in no case will they become entangled with the fabric of the case, a shirt or some nearby object. The inside of the case is covered with a soft synthetic velvet that is really pleasant to the touch, which avoids scratching the laptop (without requiring therefore to combine it with an additional cover). The inside of each side of the case, like many others of its kind, is made of neoprene foam. The thickness is about half a centimeter and is able to absorb any small bumps. Externally we find a pocket, also closed with a zip, almost as wide as the entire case and useful for carrying the computer power supply, the iPhone, the headphones, the mouse and other small accessories.
At the upper corners there are two plastic clips that allow you to attach the supplied shoulder strap by means of the respective carabiners. It can be adjusted in length and as mentioned is accompanied by a padded buttonhole that improves comfort especially when the bag is loaded with computers and accessories, thus exceeding the total kilogram of weight.
Conclusions
The Inateck bag is a practical and extremely versatile solution. You can decide to use it as a classic briefcase or combine it with the shoulder strap for long journeys. It is very subtle and elegant, thus not disfiguring when combined with serious or office attire. The interior is soft and the padding is trustworthy, two characteristics that are essential when buying a bag to carry your computer safely.
