Home Hi-Tech Android World ,,,,,The new Bose QC35 II model is the direct evolution of the previous QC35, wireless noise canceling headphones (NC, Noise canceling), born from Bose's own aerospace experience but which in recent years have seen a great proliferation in the market, even the sports one.
The review of this model, which we had the opportunity to try for a few weeks, naturally follows the one we wrote a couple of years ago about the QC35, to which the differences are only in a small detail but of enormous importance.
Bose QC35 II, the review
Quiet Confort, faithful tradition
Compared to the old model here the design has remained almost unchanged, both in the headphones themselves, always available in gray and black, and in the box and in the equipment, which remains very good. In fact, in the box we find a leatherette case excellent for transport, an audio cable for wired operation and the MicroUSB / USB-A cable for charging.
As for the headphones, the construction is entirely in plastic, but still valuable: the pads are very soft, the upper arch is comfortable and the excursion is precise and the buttons are few and in the right place.
Basically we are talking about one of the reference models of the market: indeed, since Bose is probably the reference in the noise reduction market, given that this technology was invented by the American brand.

One button, huge differences
The biggest difference from the Quiet Confort 35 model basically lies in the ability to reset the NC circuit when we do not want it: this, which was among other things the major flaw found in the previous review, is now possible through two ways.
In the first, we can use the convenient button located just behind the left pavilion. The button is programmable (because it can also activate the voice assistant), but in our opinion the NC function is the main and most important.
Secondly, we can use the App for iPhone or Android which not only turns the circuit on and off, but even introduces an intermediate stage with an optimized filter.
We remind you that noise canceling headphones can become very dangerous if used carelessly, especially when we walk on the street, because they hide the noises of motor vehicles around.
With this in mind, we found the use of the button very convenient, to temporarily deactivate the NC circuit using the QC35 II, for example for the stretch from the bus to the Metro, reactivating it immediately afterwards.
Audio, undisputed quality
For the rest, the QC35 II certify the good seen in the first model, which in turn was similar to the QC25, available only flush.
All the songs I listened to were full-bodied, and the NC did not show me to be intrusive in the musical field. We also appreciated the use at home in combination with both a MacBook Pro and a Haier U55H7000 television, where we enjoyed the impressive “Black Panther” (in which audio and video are important, to the detriment of the perhaps too obvious plot) .
In particular, the App features a particularly advanced Bluetooth system capable of connecting to two devices, remembering many others.
The switch between devices can take place manually, again via the App, or automatically, if one of the devices is a smartphone.
In our case, in fact, we were writing on the MacBook Pro and listening to iTunes but, when the iPhone rang, the connection automatically switched to the latter, letting us answer from the headphones (via the convenient commands on the right) and then quietly return to the MacBook (resuming the music) at the end of the chat.

Considerations
The QC35 II are a natural evolution of the previous model with an addition that really makes the difference.
The intrinsic quality of the model has remained the same but the elasticity has increased due to the possibility of disconnecting the NC circuit when not needed (also increasing the battery life, however remarkable with 20 hours of autonomy).
The App has also improved, becoming more and more the heart of the project (it's a pity it's not for Mac) while the design has remained the same, sober and careful but perhaps for some a little austere.
Customers can find the QC35 II in the best shopping malls of the peninsula, in authorized Bose stores or even directly online with a small discount, both in black and silver versions.
Pro
• The smart management of the Bluetooth connection allows automatic switching between multiple sources • the NC module is now faultless
Against
• The design is sober but the choice of colors is sparce • The vocal feedback in Italian is really bad (and luckily they can be removed)
