At the end of last year we saw Google announce a series of new features for Drive, all in the name of the usability of its cloud platform. In the last few hours further innovations have arrived precisely in this sense.
The animation you see in the gallery below shows the search chips at work: it is the possibility to filter in real time the search results among the Drive contents based on location, file type, modification date, people, sharing activity and etiquette.
The novelty consists in the fact that now the novelty is being distributed for all Google users , while initially it was distributed only to Workspace users in beta .
The search through search chips is accessible by searching for a term through the main bar of Drive and works with any type of file. The novelty is currently undergoing automatic distribution , it may take a few days for the rollout to complete.
