On Friday evening, Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp were inaccessible to many users for several minutes, all within a few days after October 5th they had been inaccessible for half a day due to a rather complex technical problem, causing several troubles.
The new problems, apparently largely solved, began shortly after 8pm. As reported by the New York Times, Facebook (which also controls Instagram and WhatsApp) said, however, that the new problems are not related to those, much more
