They are gradually returning to work Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp, after yesterday for several hours they had stopped working properly. The problems, which had been reported around the world, had started in the United States at around 5pm: some people had been having trouble logging into Facebook, seeing the error messages “Error code 1” and “Error code 2” appear, both from the app and from your computer. Many problems had also been reported in using Instagram, where many users were unable to share photos or stories. As for WhatsApp, however, the greatest difficulties were found in sending photos and videos to their contacts. Facebook, which owns both Instagram and WhatsApp, had explained in a Twitter statement that it was working to solve all problems as soon as possible, excluding that the malfunctions could be caused by a cyber attack.
