The announcement was made on the Italian page of Meta , the Facebook company. To celebrate San Valentino , Facebook Messenger increases the duration of voice recordings to 30 minutes .
Previously, voice messages on Messenger were limited to just 60 seconds . Meta's excuse is to allow you to express your message of love in the best possible way and without interruption for today's celebration.
The first reactions on the post itself, however, are not entirely enthusiastic . Also because for many users the vowels are already quite unpleasant in themselves, let alone a 30-minute vowel.
We do not know if from mobile it will be necessary to update Messenger to the latest version, but according to what (little) said by Meta, it seems that the novelty is in rollout for everyone already today.
