So far Chrome has never given the possibility to save one's login credentials to sites manually : the browser asked to memorize username and password only after running the login on a given site, but that option is now in beta testing. Let's see how to enable it.
If you have the Chrome 100 version of the browser go to step 6, otherwise follow the guide from the beginning.
- Download Chrome beta by downloading it from the Official Site.
- After installing it, type the following URL in the address bar chrome: // flags.
- Once the experimentation screen is open, look for the top bar Add Passwords in Settings.
- Select Enable in the drop-down menu.
- Restart the browser.
- Paste the following url chrome: // settings / passwords
- The new button Add will appear above the message Password saved .
- From this screen you can add the site of which the manager will save the password, your username and the password in question.
- Click on save.
Chrome will automatically synchronize your passwords on your PC as well as on your smartphones, allowing you to log in easily with a simple touch.
