From this morning the server of FIFA 20, the popular football video game, is difficult to reach. The servers of Origin, the platform of Electronic Arts (the company that develops, publishes and distributes FIFA games) are suffering severe slowdowns. In addition to the inability to log in, users report extremely slow uploads on social networks.
The problems concern all the devices from which it is possible to play: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, but also mobile ones. After a few hours from the start of the technical problems, EA announced that the company has temporarily disabled some modes of FIFA 20: FIFA Ultimate Team and Volta Football.
Hey folks, we have temporarily disabled FUT and VOLTA FOOTBALL match creation while we continue to investigate connectivity issues impacting EA titles.
Stay tuned to this thread for more updates as we have them.

EA also said that the developer team is continuing to investigate server issues, which are also slowing down other EA games such as Apex Legends and Battlefield 5. Electronic Arts is currently unable to say when the issues will be fixed.
