Today Samsung presented two new folding smartphones: here is the technical sheet and prices of Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Flip 3!
galaxy z fold 3 5g For the third model of the Z Fold series, Samsung has focused on build quality, in order to avoid breakage due to the frequent opening of the display of the device. Premium materials have been chosen, including the OMA Aluminum of the frame, which increases the resistance of the latter by 10% while helping to contain the overall weight of the smartphone. Added to this is the use of a new protective film on the folding display, which promises a resistance of 80% higher than that mounted on the predecessor Fold Z 2, and of the new Gorilla Glass Victus on the back cover and on the front display. The smartphone is also IPX certified, the highest ever achieved by a foldable device.
The smartphone has dimensions 158.2 x 128.1 x 6.4mm when open, while once closed we will have a device with dimensions 158.2 x 67.1 x 14.4mm in our hands, all for a total weight of 271g.
The external display is a 6.2 “Dynamic AMOLED 2X HD + @ 120Hz, while the internal display is a 7.6” AMOLED Infinity Flex with 120Hz refresh rate. The front display also presents a novelty never seen on a Samsung device, a 4MP camera installed under the glass, without resorting to the holes in the display usually present in today's smartphones.
Under the body there is the new Snapdragon 888, accompanied by 12 GB of RAM and two cuts of internal memory: 128GB and 256GB. There are three rear cameras: a main 12MP (f / 1.8), a 12MP wide-angle (f / 2.2 and FOV 123 °) and a 12MP telephoto lens (f / 2.4). The videos will be recordable at the maximum resolution of 8K. Finally, we come to the battery, a 4,400mAh unit with support for 25W wired fast charging and 10W wireless fast charging.
To accompany everything, the support for S Pen Pro, also compatible with devices such as the Galaxy Book and Galaxy Tab, and for the S Pen Fold Edition, designed specifically for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and equipped with support for Air Actions.
galaxy z flip 5g We now come to Samsung's second folding, Galaxy Z Flip 5G, which has a Super AMOLED front display 4 times wider than the previous model, with a diagonal of 1.9 ″, capable of hosting various widgets including Weather and Samsung Pay. The internal screen is a 6.7 ″ Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity Flex @ 120Hz, flanked by a double 12MP camera with Wide (FOV 123 °) and Ultrawide (FOV 78 °) lenses protected by glass with Gorilla Glass technology.
Under the body we always have a high-end processor, the Snapdragon 870, accompanied by 8GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of internal memory. Finally, about the autonomy on board we find a double battery of 3,300mAh overall, with support for fast wired charging at 15W and wireless at 10W.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 will also be available for purchase from 27 August in Phantom Black, Phantom Lavender Phantom Silver and Phantom Green colors. The White, Pink and Gray colors will be available for exclusive purchase on Samsung.com. The 8 / 128GB version will cost € 1,099, while the 8 / 256GB version will require € 1,149.
