The Google I / O 2021 starts today, to be precise at 19 (Italian), with the opening keynote that will keep us company for about two hours .
Many news awaited from this event, which we are going to list immediately, it being understood that surprises are always around the corner.
- Android 12: the first beta will be announced, with the main changes expected from the stable version scheduled for September
- Renewal of Wear OS : it is already confirmed that there will be important news for Google's smartwatch operating system, perhaps also in view of the arrival of the Pixel Watches
- Fitbit : We haven't heard much about it since the acquisition, but since there will be news in Wear OS, we expect Fitbit to be involved.
- Pixel Buds A : The cheapest version of Google's true wireless earbuds is pretty much a certainty
- Maps and Search : always a cornerstone of Google, we expect news for both these services
- Assistant / Duplex : the Google I / O in the last a nni has always been the scene of novelties dedicated to the home assistant, the smart home, and all related services. We don't expect things to change today, so there will certainly be room for this topic as well.
- Pixel 5a : some time ago Google had confirmed that the smartphone would only arrive in the US and Japan. Maybe things have not changed in the meantime.
- Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro: we don't expect them to be launched today, but Google could still do them glimpse, in view of their arrival together with Android 12 in the second half of the year.
