Having a navigation service as complete and precise as possible is undoubtedly very useful and comfortable for drivers, who travel on a daily or occasional basis. Now, Google would seem ready to implement a feature already available on Waze for some time, namely the automatic display of prices for tolls on roads, bridges and more which therefore make your itinerary more expensive.
The news started circulating thanks to a message reached by the members of the Google Maps preview program, in which they were asked to participate in a survey to address the development team of Maps on how to best implement the feature. According to the message, toll prices and perhaps totals would be displayed along a route before it is actually selected, thus allowing drivers to choose the most convenient route.
This novelty would complete what is currently displayed in the app, namely the simple presence of toll roads. As already mentioned at the beginning, the functionality is already available on Waze, the app that since 2013 has been acquired by the same company from Mountain View and from which it is slowly drawing inspiration to improve the experience on its navigation service.
