Maps is one of the flagship services of Google , since it not only allows you to easily get driving directions, but it is also a real database that contains the information of many activities.
Unfortunately, on the home screen of the service it is possible to see the information of only one place and therefore each time it is necessary to find and click on the relevant place on the map to call up the window that shows all the data. On the desktop, however, tests have started on a function that aims to eliminate this problem.
It is a lower bar to which it is possible to “hook” the favorite places, in such a way as to be able to find them easily at any time without searching on the map. To do this, just click on the Dock to bottom button on the side window: at this point the place in question will be present on the dock (and you can delete it simply by pressing on the “x”) and clicking on it the information will be shown.
It is currently unclear when this feature will arrive for everyone, let alone if we will ever see it on smartphones.
