At the beginning of December last year, Google began testing a feature in its mobile search, i.e. the ability to show videos from TikTok or Instagram directly in the search screen: now it would seem that BigG wants to go big and is in contact with the app developers.
According to The Information , Google is entering into agreements with ByteDance , developers of TikTok, and Facebook , as regards Instagram, to obtain all the data necessary for indexing the videos from the aforementioned apps and show everything directly on the search page .
At the moment all this concerns only the mobile view , but it is not excluded that Google can bring this possibility also on the desktop. There is also talk of the possibility of redefining the agreements also with Twitter : BigG in fact pays a license fee to the social network to index and therefore make Tweets accessible directly from the search screen.
