Google continues to promote the launch of the new flagship smartphone sounds, Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. This week, Google's official store in New York City showcased two Pixel 6s, the red-themed base model and the Gold themed pro.
The images, taken by some Reddit members, show the two devices enclosed in transparent showcases that can be observed from outside the store. This means that people passing by the store can admire the new smartphones, without having to enter the point of sale.
Google is also erecting some old-fashioned billboards to show the world its new little gem. David Urbanke, a professional photographer, said on his Twitter page this week that he helped photograph the devices for the advertising campaign, currently running in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
The American giant has not yet confirmed any launch date for the new generation of smartphones, apart from a vague reference to “autumn 2021”. However, almost the entire enthusiast world expects to launch in October, as usual.
