Google Translate is ready to switch interfaces

Google Translate is one of the most useful Google apps, which allows you to easily translate texts, bilingual conversations, web pages and much more. While the app has continued to get new features like the ability to transcribe a speech in real time, it hasn't received a major UI update in a long time.

But that may change soon, as Google appears to be working on a major redesign. Google Translate 6.21 launched over the weekend and contains a new activity titled “NewTranslateActivity” which, once launched, displays a completely new user interface for the app. Google's work is still ongoing as when you start the business directly, many things are not functional, including the “camera” and “more” button.

The new user interface also eliminates the hamburger menu which currently gives access to several options.
